A Bit of a Change

I've decided to add a bit more to this blog rather than just posting about books, even though I haven't actually done that in a while.

Recently, I've been getting back into my photography, and instead of starting a whole new blog and designing it all over again, I really just wanted to start here! In addition to photography, I'll probably be doing more updates on what has been going on in my life, and just about anything I can come up with. As for book reviews, I feel as if I'm losing my touch with them, I finish a book and now I usually go back and analyse it because I want to improve my Language Arts skills. Constantly, I find myself unwilling to finish up a review because I feel as if I have to be really vague about it and not being able to really TALK about the book itself.

So what does this mean? This blog will probably be turned into more of a lifestyle blog, and it's going to be sort of an adventure. I have no idea what is going to happen and whether or not I'll actually keep up with this considering how fast I had to drop book-blogging as soon as school started. To be honest, I have been considering just stopping blogging altogether, but I really like having it here so that when I want to, I have an outlet to put my thoughts into! I'm playing this by ear, but I will start by trying to get a review of a book, product, or anything I think deserves a review, every Monday! Any other extra little posts such as my photography, or recipes will be up on Friday.

I'm also hoping to slowly redesign the blog over my summer break as well, but I currently don't really have any ideas in mind, which is good. For now, I really just want to focus on trying this new idea out and seeing how it turns out! Hopefully, you will continue to follow my blog and stick with me through my chaotic life. :)

  1. I completely understand the feeling of writing reviews and feeling like you have to hold back. It's one thing I hate about review writing and I really want to change it up soon. It's great to remember that you started blogging for yourself first, so feel free to do what you want! :) I love your photography so I look forward to seeing more of it!

  2. I really wish that I could discuss the book with other bloggers, not just about the quality of it but about the meaning and everything behind it as well! At the same time, I have to keep in mind that once school starts, I probably won't have a lot of time either. Haha, thanks Kristilyn! :)
